To All parents and Adult Leaders for Troop 208:

Tuesday August 31 is the date for the Troop 208 Adult Scout Year Kick Off meeting to be held at the Henderson's home, 7584 North Road, Victor, NY (directions below). Once again thank you to the Hendersons for sharing their home with the troop. The purpose of this meeting is to review what the scouts have told us they want to do this year (our new SPL James Gates held a PLC a week ago to get input from the ASPL's), solicit volunteers, review the previous 2 months and just relax and get to know each other a little better before the craziness of September and the scouting/school year begins. We ask that only adults attend this meeting.

Tuesday August 31
6:30 - 7:30 PM - Gather and enjoy hots, burgers and sausages grilled by the grill Meister Kevin. Kevin will provide these. We ask that you bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share. Also please bring a beverage of your choice (adult beverages to be enjoyed, if desired, AFTER the meeting, around the camp fire). Please bring a camp chair.

7:30 - 9:00 PM -     Review of Troop 208's summer activities.
                               Review of Scout Master Andy Gates' meeting with the Senior PLC.
                               Troop 208 Committee - Recharter and Youth Protection Training,
                               Review of planned activities and calendar
                               Discussion of Volunteer opportunities
